The Art of Zen

Stressed at work? Pop into your local art gallery, suggest researchers. A group of
28 stressed-out City workers were found to contain 32 per cent less cortisol (a stress
hormone) after they spent a lunch hour viewing art at the Guildhall Art Gallery. According
to the University of Westminster study, it normally takes five hours for cortisol
concentrations (measured in the saliva) to drop to this extent.
