Art gallery bosses at Liverpool’s Tate were criticised this week for displaying a
new exhibition showing life-size models performing oral sex.
The gallery has no age-limit to stop children looking at the plastic figures placed
in illicit positions. Phillip Williamson, head of Liverpool’s Christian Fellowship
School, branded the exhibition “disgraceful” and called for visitors to boycott it.
The Tate defended its actions, saying that the exhibit had “very visible” warning
about the content.
